二 | 这家 AI 企业于周二公布了 Jalapeño 芯片的首批实测结果，宣称该芯片实现重大性能突破：单位功耗可以处理更多 AI 运算，同时响应速度更快。OpenAI CEO 萨姆・奥尔特曼在 X 平台发文称：“我们造出了一块芯片，速度非常快。” 半导体分析机构 SemiAnalysis 也发布报告，直言 Jalapeño 芯片“性能优于英伟达布莱克威尔（Blackwell）芯片”。这对英伟达来说无疑是一记重击。　　英伟达的芯片一直是 AI 行业对标追赶的标杆。而格外令英伟达 CEO 黄仁勋难堪的一点是：英伟达本身就是 OpenAI 的主要投资方。英伟达已经向 OpenAI 投入 300 亿美元资金。英伟达投资外部企业的目的之一，本来就是为自家硬件创造需求。　　但 OpenAI 有着自己的考量。正如此前报道，这款与博通联合开发的自研芯片，目的就是压低硬件开支、提升自身利润率。毕竟英伟达 AI 芯片定价高昂。而且这不仅仅是采购成本的问题：OpenAI 希望，这颗专为推理（运行 AI 模型）设计的芯片，运行效率能够超过英伟达偏向通用用途的 AI 芯片。　　当然 OpenAI 表示，在部署 Jalapeño 之后，公司仍会继续采购英伟达芯片，用于模型训练与推理业务。这番说辞，和亚马逊、谷歌的表态如出一辙：两家巨头都大力宣传自家自研 AI 芯片，同时也会在自家云平台上向客户提供英伟达芯片。一旦英伟达的客户可以轻易用其他产品替代英伟达芯片，黄仁勋的处境就会愈发艰难。或许他可以提醒世人食用墨西哥辣椒存在的健康风险。

三 | 　　派拉蒙的下一步计划　　加州总检察长罗布・邦塔，正积极推进一桩诉讼。他联合其他 11 个州的总检察长，提起诉讼，试图阻止派拉蒙‑天空之舞以 1100 亿美元收购华纳兄弟探索公司。　　这些州总检察长的思路仿佛还停留在上世纪 90 年代。他们声称，这笔收购完成后，派拉蒙将在日渐式微的有线电视行业以及电影行业手握过大的市场权力。　　但要提醒这些总检察长：如今真正的主战场是流媒体视频，而非有线电视。而在流媒体赛道，派拉蒙和华纳都落后于网飞这类头部对手。　　邦塔此举，说不定反而是在帮派拉蒙 CEO 戴维・埃利森一个忙。对派拉蒙来说，最有利的局面，恰恰是甩掉这笔收购会接手的大量有线电视频道。
